Challenge

SMB SaaS pitches are notoriously hard to de-risk for investors fragmented markets, high churn assumptions, and expensive acquisition costs. The deck had to make a lean $750K ask feel low-risk by grounding it in early traction proof and a defensible AI wedge against generalist tools.

Solution

Built the case around the labor inflation + AI cost decline "automation window" as the Why Now, then led with traction data (37 customers, 18% MoM growth, 6% churn) before the market size slide reversing the typical deck order to earn credibility early. Positioned FlowPilot as the AI layer on top of existing workflows, not a replacement.
