The deck had to neutralize that concern while ensuring the ESG angle (waste reduction, circular economy) supported the financial story rather than replacing it avoiding the trap of sounding like a charity pitch.
Solution
Anchored the Why Now in hard economic tailwinds post-COVID material cost spikes and WA government 80% waste recovery targets by 2030 to frame the market as pull-driven, not push. Kept the business model clean (5–10% transaction fees) and used a conservative 3-year revenue ramp ($120K → $1.9M) to signal disciplined execution over hype.
